The MDaemon^® Email Server for Windows^® version 11 offers customers integrated support for BlackBerry^® push email using their current BlackBerry email service. This latest release provides small- and medium-sized businesses with a quick and easy way to connect employees to their work email on either their personal or company provided BlackBerry smartphones.

New features of BlackBerry Internet Service 3.1

Rather than polling the mail server for new messages, the MDaemon Email Server delivers messages automatically to a user's BlackBerry smartphone using the customer's existing BlackBerry email service.

Users will have improved email handling when using a BlackBerry device with MDaemon. Messages composed on a BlackBerry smartphone will be sent to the MDaemon mail server for delivery rather than having the BlackBerry email service mail servers deliver the mail. This allows your BlackBerry composed emails to comply with company email security policies, content-filter rules, email authentication, archiving, or other settings established by the email administrator.

MDaemon's unique Inbox Mapping^™ feature is beneficial for pushing messages from other mail folders into a user's BlackBerry device inbox. MDaemon's account editor and webmail client allow users to select specific mail folders that filter incoming messages to a folder and send the message to the user's BlackBerry device for viewing. The messages are not actually moved into the Inbox on MDaemon and folders are not created on the BlackBerry smartphone. Rather, selected folder content is sent to the BlackBerry as if it were part of the Inbox folder.

Messages remain on the MDaemon server for convenient access to your email from any location using your desktop mail client, MDaemon's web mail client (WorldClient), or on the road from your BlackBerry handheld device.

Using a SyncML client, it is easy to keep your contacts, calendar events, and tasks synched between the MDaemon Email Server and your BlackBerry device.
